-Ciel sat alone in a park one cold, fall day....-

She sits across from Faire at a bench, who isn't visible at the moment... "What am I to do about the contest?" she asks.. "They say I might still try to win against both opponents, but I surely cannot when I have no idea what my ability is...", her Guardian replies "None of your friends can even go, again... Maybe you'd have to ask a stranger?...". He then smiles "If you ask them like that, they'd hav to listen!", she smiles cheerfully "Ah, you like it when I talk this way? My friends make fun of me for doing this, but it seems you find it as attractive as I have♡..." she replies somewhat smugly as Faire smiles warmly back.. Ciel then explains: "But, I cannot ask just anyone. For I believe a complication would arise in the way of how money is awarded...", she then leans across the bench to kiss him "But it's no matter: who needs money, anyway?". Faire kisses her.. they start to makeout, until Faire senses a Guardian! The Hebrew sensing him, leans back too as he says "It's... Nouvelle, which means Hannah's coming!". Ciel turns towards the direction he's looking in and can barely see her... "I'll go to see her, she seems like she's straight to me, so..", she gets up and walks to the masochist.. 

Upon reaching her, Faire and Nouvelle wave to eachother as Ciel greets Hannah "Hi!" she says cheerfully, the masochist replies "Hey, what a coincidence you're heading my way!". The Hebrew then asks "Why? What do you need?!", Hannah laughs "You need a partner for the contest, right?". Ciel smiles in surprise "Yeah, I, I didn't expect you to do it!", the masochist stretches as she explains: "I know it seems strange since we just met, but I feel what you guys do: like we known each other for years! Of course I'd help you! Especially since none of the others can make it, this is a way to help everyone out!". The Hebrew cheers "Thanks! I know we can do it! ...Even if I don't know how my ability works!" she ends in a lower voice... they both laugh until Hannah assured: "Don't worry, mine'll win it for both of us! But we hafta be VERY careful!"..

The next day: in a Illinois stadium, crowds packed every seat and cheered wildly as the announcer screams "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: WELCOME TO THE 'POWERLESS POWERED' CONTEST! THIS PARTICULAR HAS VERY UNIQUE ABILITIES THAT ARE BOTH NOT THERE AND UNIDENTIFIED BY EVEN THE SPIRIT ACADEMY!! AND HERE'S OUR CONTESTANTS!!!", Ciel and Hannah step out into the ring as he screamed crazily "THE POWERLESS: CIEL. AND THE MYSTERIOUS: HANNAAAAAAAAAH!!!". The Hebrew sighs after hearing that "I knew what it was, but I wish he didn't say 'powerless'...", her friend replies "He didn't mean it, it's mostly a term for people who just haven't found their own ability, yet... it's not.. bad?". The announcer then defeaned the voices again "AND IN THIS CORNER IS... ANOTHER MYSTERY: MASAMUNE!!! AND THE PRINCESS: NICOLAAAAAAAAA!!!", Ciel's eyes widened as her friend (and someone else) enters the field, waving!

"Nicola!!!?" Ciel says in surprise, the pricess calmly, yet happily greets her "Ciel?! What a surprise! They didn't tell me who I'd fight, only who my partner would be..". The Hebrew replies "Me neither! I guess they wanted everything to be a surprise..", she then smiles "This is my friend: Hannah! Hannah, you probably already know the princess!", the masochist replies "Yeah, 'cause of Melissa and Erri..." she laughs sheepishly. Masamune shouts "HEY! Don't forget about me!! I'm Masamune!!! Ginka's friend! I'm gonna make you pay for what ya did to him!", Ciel replies "He almost burned me alive, but if you think he should avenged, bring it!". The announcer suddenly yells "CIEL AND HANNAH VS MASAMUNE AND PRINCESS NICOLE: WHO'LL WIN!! LET'S GO!!!!!"

Ciel puts up her fists, as Hannah snipes at their opponents. Masamune smirked and shouted "Striker!!!!!" causing a HUGE horn to grow from the center of his forehead!!! Nicola giggles as she reveals: "This one of my first time wearing anything like pants, it still feels very new to me...", fire suddenly emits from her feet!!! Ciel and Hannah awe as the princess instinctively pushes her shirt down... "...but I think I'll do good enough to win! Especially with Mr Kodo!". Masamune subs his nose "Of course! You won't even have to get involved, your highness!" he suddenly charged Ciel!! She barely dodges as he slams into the stadium wall, electricity flies everywhere as he struck it, and tries to snatch away! Hannah then says "You distract 'em, wether or not you know your ability: you can keep them down long enough for me to use my thing!", she looks over her shoulder at the unicorned-teen... "Then again, maybe I could know 'em out, now!". Ciel replies "Then I'll take Nicola!", the princess smiles mischievously "That sounded ambiguous, come: let us see who'll take who♪!". Hannah runs to knock out Masamune as Ciel rushes Nicola, the princess though, caught her foot on fire!!! Then sucked the flames into her leg as the other launches her to the girl! Ciel steps back as the princess' inflamed foot glows and she kicks! The Hebrew runs, being knicked slightly by the attack!! "Ah, I'm so sorry! I did not mean to hurt you, but to finish this in one move." Nicola truthfully reveals. Ciel steps back as the princess floats to her "I need to get her off balance, then I could do a sleeper-hit: I don't want to actually hurt Nicola either.." the Hebrew thought.. The princess suddenly does a roundhouse kick!! Ciel tries to deflect the attack as she doesn't have time to run, nor grab her leg! But seemingly hits her shin causing the glow to leave that foot!! Nicola suddenly flips over and falls to the ground, Ciel stares in surprise "Ah! Are you..." she starts, the princess gets up "I am fine, let's keep going: I have no idea how you hurt my leg without moving, but I have trained for this, too!" the princess smirks as she explains. Ciel smirks too "Alright, let's do it!", she palms as the princess kicks!! Ciel caught her foot, but Nicole does a flip-kick!!! The Hebrew tries to block at the last second, but her own hand's hit back into her face! The princess though, fell halfway through the attack... "Ow!!" she says as she holds her neck!!! A white-towel falls by her causing the announcer to say "THE PRINCESS' GUARDS HAVE THROWN IN THE TOWEL FOR THE MAIDEN AFTER A SOMEWHAT SERIOUS LOOKING FALL! ROCKET FEET USERS MUST BECAREFUL HOW THEY USE THEIR ABILITY! BUT SHE WAS OFF TO GREAT START! LET'S HOPE HER PARTNER IS READY TO DO THIS!" everybody claps as paramedics come to take Nicola "This is embarrassing.. If only I had better balance.." she says, Ciel smiles "Don't worry, I know you'll get it! You did great considering you just found your ability!". The princess smiles as she's carried away "Thank you, my friend.."...

The Hebrew suddenly hears: "Watch out, Ciel!!!" and turns to see Masamune charging at her!!! She barely dodges as he turns smoothly (this time) and charged again! Hannah aims at him, but backflips away and towards a stadium wall "You're gonna pay for that!!" he smirked!! The masochist walks by Ciel: "This guy's movin' so fast, I couldn't fire in time: I'll need help just to get him by himself!", the Hebrew replies "Don't worry! I'll knock him away like I did to the other guy!" Masamune glared "I'm not as weak as Ginka... I'm gonna finish this with FLASH GALAXY DRIVE!!!"!!!

Ginka cheered "Do it, Masamune!!!", a friend sitting beside him warns: "But he's not suppose to do that move! He can't fly like you!!!". Masamune starts to charge, electricty wildly pops off his body as he stood still... "Alright, it's go time!!!" he shouts  "I'm taking you both out, now!!!", he leaps HIGH over the stadium!!! Hannah awes at how high he goes... "When he comes back down, we're gonna have to time our attack: PERFECTLY!", Ciel looks at her "Because of the impact!?". The masochist replies "Yeah, that electricity would probably numb us both if not fry us! When he comes down, I'll try my ability to knock him safely out of the air... You stay back..." she sounds alot more dark/seripus near the end of her sentence... The Hebrew makes a fist as Masamune comes down MUCH faster than Ginka did!!! "HERE I COME!!!" he cheered!!! 

"I must ready my own ability, what ever it might be: in case Hannah needs me.. I have no idea what happens, but I have to try.."

Hannah aims at Masamune as he reaches view and fires a red-hurrican looking beam!!!!? Everybody stands as it strikes Masamune just before he goes pass the stadium wall, he starts to fall in a limp motion and hits the ground MUCH softer than he normally would've!!! Everybody awed at Hannah.. Ciel looks up at her in surprise "H, how did?.. What was that!?", ..Hannah grimaces.. then smiles as she turns towards her "My ability.. It's a storm thing.. Havoc.. It uses some of my bloodcells to make beam that wreaks everything it touches..." she then looks away at grimaced again.. As the announcer yelled: "CIEL AND HANNAH ARE THE WINNEEEERS OF THE BATTLLLLLLLE!!!" as the crowd heers!!

Later, in the infirmary: Ciel and Hannah are checked out... "Looks like you both ony suffered minor scratches and bruises.." the doctor explains"You might feel better to know that "Prnicess Nicola is fine now, too.". Ciel sighs in relief "Great... thanks!", he gets up from the clinic-bed "I knew it! Now, you're free to go any time, the judges usually send the prize money via mail..".. He leaves the infirmary as Ciel says "I don't what I wanna spend my prize money on!", Hannah smirks "I know what I want!  Wires!! A buncha electrical wires!". The Hebrew looks up "Why that?", the masochist sheepishly smiles "Um.. for stuff..." she says (to cover up the BDSM she's planning for herself..). Hannah then asks "Forget me.. You beat Nicola easily! I thought you didn't havva ability??", Ciel laughs "I have one! I'm just not sure how it works... And I didn't want to fight her anyway, so it probably didn't 'work' like the other times..". The masochist laughed too as she gets ready to go "Ah, no wonder you get in so many 'mystery' competitions! You're not even sure what's happening: while not getting a ability until later is common, when the user isn't even sure.. it's a rarity!", Ciel gets hot all over as Hannah leaves "Don't feel bad that you don't have one, or at least don't know what's happening. It's a special thing about you, you'll find out soon, too!". She waves bye, Ciel does too... "I never thought of it like that..." she thought..

That evening, Ciel walks o a teleporter... until she hears: "Ciel!!". The Hebrew turns to see Shani running to her! "Ciel!" she calls out! The Hebrew smiles warmly "Shani! How are you? ...wait, why're out so late!?". The bender replies "I.. I was trying to find you!" she says breathlessly "I got to your fight, and wanted to congratulate you... but.. I got caught up in the crowds, then..."... Ciel smiles happily "Thanks! None of my friends could make it, again! I'm glad one could!", Shani giggles as she caught her breath "Heeheehee! Me too! I wouldn't of missed it for anything, Cici!". The Hebrew giggles too as they continue home...

-Later, Ciel and Faire celebrate by having sex, then excitedly wait for Halloween afterwards...-
